Prior to starting VON VRECKIN & ASSOCIATES, Theresa had a long and successful career at Delaware North (2003-2017) rising to the position of Senior Business Analyst in the Financial Systems. She enjoyed a reputation for being results driven with key strengths in the analysis and design of reporting/financial systems to support business needs using standards to gain efficiency.
Theresa’s achievements include: The development and maintenance of financial and operational reports for 10 subsidiaries across 7 countries, developed and led training on Oracle Financial Reporting Studio for 40+ power users, SmartView for 300+ end users and PeopleSoft General Ledger for 400+ end users, led effort to use features of the financial system in innovative ways to incorporate horizontal and vertical reporting within and across subsidiaries which provided additional views of business data with minimal impact on system performance, worked with subsidiary management to design and develop Key Performance Indicator reporting for 40+ operating units and re-engineered the hotel business segment reporting to bring 20+ operating units in compliance with industry standards.
Prior to 2003 Theresa held several positions at Delaware North including Senior Business Analyst for the Contract Services division, Manager of Operational Reporting for Sportservice, Financial Analyst II for Sportservice, and Financial Analyst II for Corporate Financial Reporting and Analysis. She also worked as Senior Accountant for Niagara Asset Corp, Senior Accountant for Goldome/Key Bank and a Junior Accountant at Empire Realty Credit Corp.
Theresa’s qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Canisius College, QuickBooks Online certification, formal training in Oracle Essbase, PeopleSoft General Ledger & nVision, Oracle BI Analysis/Dashboards, and Oracle BI Publisher.
